Thiudsch is an artistic language (artlang) crafted specifically for the creation and expression of songs. I designed Thiudsch with the intention of creating a unique linguistic framework for songwriting. Its phonetic beauty and rhythmic versatility make it easy to infuse music with an exotic yet familiar European flavor.

Thiudsch is a fictional dialect of the German language, similar to Low German. While the grammar is mostly identical to German, it incorporates unique sound shifts influenced by changes seen in the evolution of the English language. This linguistic blend creates a distinct, melodic quality suitable for musical compositions.

Thiudsch is rooted in the Germanic linguistic tradition, borrowing from Middle and Early Modern High German. However, it diverges through a series of sound shifts that align more closely with English phonetic changes.
