The Earthmother, the goddess of creation, had always chosen a mortal to be her Avatar, her voice among mortals. Some were elves, but most of them had been human. For some time, there had not been an Avatar, and many believed the Earthmother had left the world.
But one day, a new Avatar arrived. This one was mysterious. She called herself only "White Wolf", always wearing mithril armor, a silver cloak, and a white wolf mask.
People wondered why this new avatar hid her identity like that, some were suspicious. However, her powers could not be denied.
She had her reasons, this White Wolf, as she was a Drow. To anounce to the people that a new Avatar had been chosen, and to instill hope, she wrote this song.

Verse:
The call of the White Wolf;
Sounds through the night.
The call of the amber heart;
Awoken by Mother's blood.
Born of light and shadow;
Blossomed in moonlight.
From beyond the mountains;
The Wolf's light glows.
Chorus:
Following the track, the hunt in her blood;
Shows us the way, gives us courage.
Leads us out of the darkness, into the light.
The Wolf has awoken, don't despair.
Verse:
The light of the White Wolf;
Shines through meadows and forests.
White figure;
Blazing in golden light.
Listen to the morning wind;
The sweet melody.
The song of the Wolf lasts forever;
And it never, oh never, fades.
Chorus:
Following the track, the hunt in her blood;
Shows us the way, gives us courage.
Leads us out of the darkness, into the light.
The Wolf has awoken, don't despair.
Bridge:
Sings the kiss of the flames;
Must bring punishment;
White and silver gives;
Mercy who remembers her.
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
Chorus:
Following the track, the hunt in her blood;
Shows us the way, gives us courage.
Leads us out of the darkness, into the light.
The Wolf has awoken, don't despair.
Refrain:
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
The Wolf has awoken, the White Wolf;
